Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to all individuals  aged 18 or over who participate in The Exeter’s adviser surveys at any adviser event sponsored by The Exeter between 1 April 2026 and 30th June 2026 (“Q2 Event”), except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.
  2.  The prize draw is free to enter. Participants will be entered automatically when they complete The Exeter’s adviser survey with an Exeter representative at any Q2 event. Only one entry per person is permitted
  3. The opening date for entries is 8am on 1st April 2026. The closing date of the prize draw is 9pm on 30th June 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted. 
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
  5. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 1st July 2026. ("Draw Date").
  6. The winner will receive a set of Bose Headphones up to the retail price of £250. 
  7. The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) within 7 days of the Draw Date. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  8. The prize will be sent to the winner within 14 days of being notified of their win.
  9.  The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 
  10.  The prize will be supplied by a reputable UK retailer chosen by the Promoter (the "Supplier"). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so. 
  11. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 
  12. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails marketing@the-exeter.com or writes to the Marketing team, The Exeter, Lakeside House, Emperor Way, Exeter EX1 3FD. (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 3. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at marketing@the-exeter.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 
  14. A Participant who is selected as the winner of this prize draw shall not be eligible to win a prize at any other adviser event promoted by the Promoter within three (3) months of the Draw Date.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  16.  Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  17. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's the-exeter.com/privacy-policy/. See also condition 12 with regard to the announcement of winners.
  18. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom. 
  19. The Promoter of this prize draw is The Exeter Friendly Society Limited, which is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority (Register number 205309) and is incorporated under the Friendly Societies Act 1992 Register No. 91F with its registered office at Lakeside House, Emperor Way, Exeter, England EX1 3FD.
