UK health and life insurer The Exeter has today announced that Karen Woodley will step into a new role as Head of Healthcare Development, helping to shape the future direction of its healthcare business.
Karen joined The Exeter in 2015 as Head of Healthcare Distribution and brings more than 20 years’ experience across the healthcare insurance market.
A respected industry figure, Karen offers valuable external insight through her position on the ABI Health Committee and her role as Treasurer of the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII).
In this new position, Karen will focus on identifying emerging trends, innovation, market developments and future opportunities to help shape the next phase of The Exeter’s healthcare proposition.
The Healthcare Distribution Team, previously led by Karen, will be integrated into the Exeter’s wider distribution model under Jamie Page, Head of Distribution.
