Setting up your family members on HealthWise

If you have family members listed on your policy
If you have family members (16+) listed on your health insurance policy as either a partner or dependent, you don’t need to add them to the ‘My family’ feature on your HealthWise app. This is because they will receive their own invitation email, inviting them to register for HealthWise. They’ll then have their own log in and their own full allowance of services.
Any family members registering must use their own individual email address, you can’t share an email address.
If you don’t have family members listed on your policy
If you don’t have family member listed on your policy as either a partner or dependent, you can add them to the ‘My family’ feature on your HealthWise app. Once you add them and if they’re over 16, they’ll receive an invitation email to register for HealthWise. They’ll then have their own log in but will share your service allowance. Anyone under 16 will share your log in and be able to access the remote GP and second medical opinion service with you present. Once they turn 16, they’ll receive an invitation email to register for their own account.
Children are only eligible up to the age of 18 or to age 23 if they’re in full time education.
To add family members: select ‘My Family’ > ‘Add Family Members’ > Complete the Form.
